The Grand Am Suspension was originally a mid size car and later a compact car that was produced by the Pontiac division of GM. The Grand Am Suspension had a 3 year run from 73 to 75 and from 78 to 80. It was based on the GM platform. Production of the Grand Am Suspension was cancelled in 1980 when it was replaced by the 6000. The Grand Am Suspension was reintroduced in 85 when it replaced the Phoenix. On that particular point, the Grand Am Suspension was based on the GM N platform and became a from 85 to 06 and was replaced by the Pontiac G6. All Grand Am Suspensions between 85 and 05 were built in Lansing, Michigan.
