The 1978 and 1979 Dodge Magnum Suspension in the United States and Canada was a rebadged Chrysler Cordoba. The Magnum Suspension replaced the Charger SE in Dodge's lineup, but was a poor seller. It was the last vehicle to use the long running Chrysler B platform. The appearance was somewhat of a rounded off Charger, and was in responce to getting a car that would be eligble for NASCAR that would be more aerodynamic, something the Cordoba clone 75-77 Charger was definetely not.
Magnum Suspension makes a huge difference on a cars performance. Do you want to drop your car? Or maybe you're interested in the performance aspect. The Magnum Suspension ins your vehicle can make a huge different on the ride and look. If its too spongy it will be hard to take fast corners. If its too high it will make big wheels look funny, kind of like a SUV. I'm sure you don't want to make your vehicle that you spent so much money yon looking funky? All it takes is the right shock/coilover and strut to make your car slammed. Its not always good to go too low as you can scratch your bumper or damage the bottom of your car on bumpers and pot holes.
