Similar in structure to the Buick Regal and Pontiac Prix, Oldsmobile's new front drive midsize sedan flaunted an import like personality. Introduced in May 97 as an early 98 model, Intrigue Suspension replaced the Cutlass Supreme. Styling differed considerably from the Regal and Grand Prix. Intrigue Suspension also diverged in its chassis tuning, equipment, and some dimensions. Wheel base, for instance, was 1.5 inches shorter for the Intrigue Suspension than for Prix. Oldsmobile marketed the Intrigue Suspension in a single body style with one power train, one seating configuration, and one suspension setup. Base and upscale GL editions went on sale, each powered by a 3.8 liter V-6 with an automatic transmission.

The Intrigue Suspension ins your vehicle can make a huge different on the ride and look. If its too spongy it will be hard to take fast corners. If its too high it will make big wheels look funny, kind of like a SUV. I'm sure you don't want to make your vehicle that you spent so much money yon looking funky? All it takes is the right shock/coilover and strut to make your car slammed. Its not always good to go too low as you can scratch your bumper or damage the bottom of your car on bumpers and pot holes.
