Isuzu revived the compact Amigo Suspension, last seen in 94, in a fresh form for the 98 model year. Available with rear-drive or 4 wheel drive, Amigo Suspension shared its basic design with the larger Isuzu Rodeo 4 door sport utility wagon, but wore a shorter 2-door body. The semi-convertible body had a folding soft top over the back seat, as well as a pop-up sunroof. 2 engines were available: a 4 cylinder and a V-6. The 2.2 L dual overhead cam 4 cylinder produced 130 hp, versus 205 hp for the twin-cam 3.2 L V6. 5 speed manual shift was standard, with a 4 speed automatic transmission optional for Amigo Suspensions with the V-6 engine.
Amigo Suspension makes a huge difference on a cars performance. Do you want to drop your car? Or maybe you're interested in the performance aspect. The Amigo Suspension ins your vehicle can make a huge different on the ride and look. If its too spongy it will be hard to take fast corners. If its too high it will make big wheels look funny, kind of like a SUV. I'm sure you don't want to make your vehicle that you spent so much money yon looking funky? All it takes is the right shock/coilover and strut to make your car slammed. Its not always good to go too low as you can scratch your bumper or damage the bottom of your car on bumpers and pot holes.
